Condoms
Putting a condom on your vibe will keep it the cleanest and most sanitary–but we suggest using a condom without nonoxynol-9 and with plenty of lube so as not to damage the sensitive polymers of your toy. Using a condom allows you to share your vibe with others. Just apply a new condom before a new person uses it. Even using a vibrator by yourself with a condom will ensure that you don't introduce dangerous bacteria into your vagina and will also keep you from reinfecting yourself with any vaginal infection you might have experienced in the past. Also, never use the same vibe from anus to vagina without applying a new condom.

Washing
Common sense dictates: never immerse an electric vibe sex toy in water, especially if it's plugged in–like your hair dryer, electric vibes are in no way, shape or form water-friendly. If a battery or electric vibe sex toy gets immersed in water that isn't water proof, you'll risk burning out the motor and corroding the battery compartment, causing it to short out.

Best Technique
Most vibe sex toys can be cleaned by wiping them down with a damp, soapy washcloth and drying the sex toy off carefully with a clean towel or paper towel.
